Products supplied by Gmac Circle Sdn. Bhd. are all approved by SIRIM QAS, PBA (Penang), IKRAM and PSB (Singapore). All components of the "Sun" Pressed Steel Tanks meet the requirements of British Standard B.S. 1564:1975 for pressed steel sectional rectangular tank with external flanges and all Hot-Dip Galvanizing complied with ISO 1461:1999 from the source approved by PBAPP.
Water Tanks
SUN Brand pressed steel sectional water tanks are fabricated in 2 different measurements namely imperial and metric. We provide panels panels in 1,220 mm x 1,220 mm for imperial and 1,000 mm x 1,000 mm for metric measurements. For tanks of non standard measurements required, we do provide panels in 1,220 mm x 610 mm and 1,000 mm x 500 mm.
Mild Steel
This is the basic form of pressed steel sectional water tank. The material used is Hot-rolled steel plate conformed to BS 4360 grade 43A or equivalent. It comes with a shop painting of one coat red oxide on the external surface and two coats bituminous paint on the internal surface.
Hot-Dipped Galvanised
Water tank panels, internal bracings and accessories will be processed with galvanizing complying with ISO 1461:1999. This process would prolong the life span of the water tank and also provide for many years of maintenance free.
Hot-Dipped Galvanised with HDPE Lining and Internal Stainless Steel Bracing
The water tank panels will be galvanized and installed with a layer of 2.0 mm thick HDPE lining internally. All components in contact with water will be of Stainless Stell 304 or 316 materials upon request. Under these circumstances, the tank will be protected against the corrosion of water. This will provide a safer and cleaner storing of water within the tank.
